Description

The NWES 0510 Trammel Type Toe Gauge is designed for quick, accurate, toe readings. This unit is so simple that even the novice can use it accurately.

Built for durability. Made of heavy aluminum castings and bright zinc 18-gauge welded steel tubing, eight (8) feet in length, with an indicator dial graduated in 1/32nd inches, and in millimeters.

The legs are offset so that the bar may be used with the vehicle either on turntables or on the floor. This gauge reads from the outside of one wheel to the outside of the other.

Measurements are taken at the truest surface of the tire, the scuff rib.  Readings are not affected by bent wheels or irregular tire treads.

The vehicle stays in position while it is checked and corrections are made.  Starting at zero on the gauge dial at the front of the vehicle, then moving the gauge to the back of the front wheels and setting the dial again, and taking a reading makes this alignment procedure so easy that anyone can do it.

Measuring wheels as shown above, the outside width is 88 inches. Legs can be reversed to measure the inside of the tires.

We do our best to keep shipping costs reasonable. However, due to extra freight charges, we regret that we have to charge extra shipping for extra length, odd sizes or lightweight items that require larger boxes.
